I got mail!

I’ve been getting lots of comments and questions regarding my technique for converting stamps. I’m happy to receive them all and hope to get more. Especially if you have any questions.

When I was working out this technique I had 2 goals; I wanted it to be easy and to use ONLY SU! products or things that were cheap and easy to find.

I’d like to share a comment I received from a fellow demonstrator:

“And that’s what I most appreciated about your technique Susan! It uses SU products, and out of all the other methods I’ve tried (which I believe is every one), this is by far the most economical and gives me the best results! I completed my first set last night, and am ready to get going on the rest. Thank you SO much for the time and research you completed, AND for sharing your technique with us!!” Sheila G.

Comments like this keep me going. I really appreciate it when you tell me that this is working for you. One thing I may or may not have mentioned before is that if you have trouble with the vinyl sticking to the clear blocks – whether using Stampin’ Up! clear mount stamps or the converted ones – check to be sure that both the block and the stamp are clean and free of dust, oily residue from your fingers or glitter! ; ) I usually just use a water dampened cloth or paper towel and then buff them dry. Now. Go Stamp Some Fun! -Susan ; )

I just wanted to drop a note to let you know that this is a brilliant technique. I have finished one set, you know, just dipping my toe in! I am so amazed at how professional this looks. I’ve been using unmounted just sticking SU stamp to block, but you have to be quick or it sticks. This is so great, works, looks great and is cheap. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for creating the tutorial on converting from wood to clear mount and I just LOVED that you created the clear block size guide! I can’t thank you enough for sharing with us!
