Thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I have been wanting to convert some of my wood stamps but did not want to use the EZ Mount. Now I have an easy way of doing it. Thanks again.

Hmmm. Bought vinyl at Joanns. Stamp came right off in Microwave. Great.

Problem: I followed everything you said but my vinyl doesn’t stick to the acrylic block at all. I cleaned and dried both.

Question: Is there a reason you suggest tissue paper and not regular paper?

  4. Susan Peters says:

Amy, I’ve heard from quite a few stampers that the vinyl purchased from Joanns gave them trouble. Click on February 2010 in the archives (in the left column above) and check out the 2/21/2010 post. There’s a detailed explanation there. I use tissue paper because it is so thin and will resist cracking better than regular text weight paper. Remember that the stamps will flex and bend when they are put on and taken off of the clear blocks. Hope this helps! -Susan ; )
