St. Patrick’s Day and more reverse image stamping!

St. Pat rubber scrap St Pat transfer St Pat image transfer

All that scrap rubber you get with a new stamp set?  Look for a large piece, cut it out and use it to make reverse images of your stamps!  Here’s how:

Ink your stamp using VersaMark ink; here we’re using the beer mug from the Cheers to You! stamp set. Press and hold the stamp on the scrap rubber for a few seconds to give the ink a chance to transfer.  Now lay a piece of Gable Green card stock over the stamped rubber and holding it firmly in place, rub over your card stock to transfer the ink from the scrap rubber onto your card stock.

Pour Black Stampin’ Emboss powder over the image, tap off excess and heat set using your heat tool.  Ink your beer mug stamp again with VersaMark and stamp directly onto a piece of Gable Green card stock.  Pour on embossing powder, tap off excess and heat set.  You now have 2 beer mugs, each facing a different direction.

Slide the handle area of the beer mug image into the Horizontal Slot Punch and punch out the area between the mug and the handle.  Touch up your image with a black pen if needed.  Repeat for 2nd mug.

Using your Paper Snips, trim out both mug images.  Score and fold an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Green Galore card stock to form your card.  Using the flowering branch stamp from the Tiny Tags stamp set (found in the Occasions Mini) and Green Galore Classic Stampin’ Pad, make a border all around the front of your card.  I’m using the clear mount set with clear block B.

Using the Basic Black Classic Stampin’ Pad, stamp the Go Green stamp (found in the Occasions Mini) onto a 3-1/2″ wide by 3-3/4″ tall piece of Whisper White card stock as shown.  Again, using the flowering branch stamp from the Tiny Tags stamp set and Green Galore Classic Stampin’ Pad, make a border down each side of your card layer.  Using your SNAIL adhesive or glue, adhere the layer onto the card as shown.

Use the Wide Oval Punch to punch an oval from a scrap of Green Galore card stock.  Adhere your beer mug images onto the Green Galore oval.
