Who knew? Today is Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. For real! So in honor of this, I had to make a card using bubble wrap as my one and only stamp. How did I do? Wanna make one, too? Here's how:
Begin with a piece of Bubble Wrap that is approx. 5" X 7" and lay it on your work surface, bubble side up. Pat the Baja Breeze ink pad repeatedly all over the bubbles. Take a 4" X 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock, lay it over the bubbles and rub over the card stock to transfer the ink onto it. This is the only "stamping" we do for this card. Now, punch a bunch of circles and glue them over the top 2/3 of the V. Vanilla card stock. Place it in the Square Lattice Embossing Folder with the undecorated side showing through the side of the folder that says; Stampin' Up! and run it through your Big Shot. That's how we make Embedded Embossing! Awesome, right? Now use the Scallop Edge Border punch on one side of a 1-1/2" X 4" strip of Pretty in Pink card stock. Wrap a piece of Victoria Crochet Trim around it adding glue to the back to hold it in place. Glue this onto the V.Vanilla layer and glue that onto a Marina Mist card base. Add the Baja Blue Vintage Flower Adornment using either the glue or a few glue dots. Your Bubble Wrap stamped card is complete! To see more Embedded Embossing and Double Embossing, click HERE.
