Have you ever see those beautiful wooden boxes with inlaid designs made from different colors of wood? It takes hours and hours of careful work. We can have embedded embossing on our cards for a fraction of the time and work. Look closely; it appears as if the different colors of card stock are inlaid on the card.
Would you like to know how to duplicate this? It's easier than you think! First, cut the Crumb Cake card stock layer to 5-3/16" X 3-15/16". Then glue your die cuts on, leaving a 3/8" undecorated border. As an option to die cuts, you could use punches. Now place it in the Finial Press Embossing Folder so that your decorated side is showing through the side of the folder that says; Stampin' Up! Now run it through your Big Shot. Next, take it out of that folder and place it in
the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. Line it up so the decorated side of your card stock shows through the side of the folder that says; Stampin' Up! and is aligned within the Tulip frame. Roll it through your Big Shot and take it out. Awesome, right? Now just scribble some glue on the back of this layer and mount it on your card base. Done! Here are a few other examples. What's different is that I added a few die cuts after they were embossed.
