Paper Piercing made easy!

Have you ever wanted to add paper piercing to a card but been frustrated by how difficult it can be to keep them in a straight line or curved line or evenly spaced?  We now have the solution and it's so easy!

Happy You stamp set

I have added piercing to the tag on this card and also around it.  Normally this would be difficult to get it aligned and spaced properly, but I used our new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and it was quick and easy!

Begin with a Real Red card base.  Add Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise punched strips and a piece of Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper.  I forgot that this punch is retired – sorry!  This card will look just as good using either the Scallop Trim Border Punch or the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

Stamp the pinwheel image from the Happy You hostess set onto Whisper White CS using Basic Black ink.  Color using Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers.

Lay the stamped piece onto the Stampin' Pierce Mat and align the appropriate piercing template over it.  Pierce using the new, easy to hold Paper-Piercing Tool.  Punch out using the Tag Punch.

Lay the same piercing template onto the card front (remember to open your card so you don't accidently pierce through the back) and pierce the larger tag shaped pattern.  Adhere the punched image over it using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Done!
